Anyone who enjoys art or gardening would enjoy a picnic here. Kids like the secret passages tucked into the play structures. Great photo op location. Immaculately clean, inspiring art, landscaping to remember. Clean outhouse. This park honors a beloved son we can assume was very loved.
First time I got to really explore this place & it is so great for kids! So glad we have this cool place in Carbondale!
A fun time for grown-ups and an honest-to-God adventure for kids. This place is wonderful, not just for all of the opportunities to explore, play and discover, but for the other kids here too – of all ages. When it's crowded, it can get a little wild, but that's just part of the attraction. One word of warning though, for grown-ups following their kids through here, or perhaps playing hide-and-seek – watch where you go. A lot of these doorways and passageways are made kid-sized. So while a four year old can run right through, her Dad, in this case, me, might turn their head at the wrong time and wang it something fierce. I had a pain for a day! Be careful, but have lots of fun – it would be hard not to!
