I chose the Auto Shop for its good reviews on Google. I had a cracking noise coming from the passenger rear side of my car and by the friendly manner of Colin, the rep I spoke to, and Brian, the tech who went on a test drive with me, I had a good feeling about the service.
This has to be one of the best overall businesses I have ever had the pleasure of being a customer at. This place is literally like my family, they treat me as if I am one of their own and are very helpful with all things automotive! They work very hard to get your car done as soon as possible and be sure that it is in top notch shape when it leaves their shop. They are incredibly trustworthy and will always be concerned with your safety as a driver and will never rip you off like some of the typical auto shop stereotypes that take advantage of people who don't know much about vehicles and run up the bill. I will always be loyal to this family and shop and highly recommend it to anyone who has car troubles or needs a tune up.
Did work I requested not to be done. Customer service was Great, but I got financially rapped. I won't return to this facility.
A shop of genuinely good people. Everyone is very friendly and offers great service. Pricing is always fair. I have had multiple things done here, ranging from simple brake servicing to lift kit installation. The techs are knowledgeable and quick. Great shop, with even better people working in it.
I believe I spoke to Jeremy during this call, who informed me they only charged me for a 1/3 of an hour's work or so, and that usually they charge between $40-$60 for the work they did, which felt I was being told I should be grateful they didn't charge me more. Had I known that brakes had to be specially requested, I would have gladly spent more time and money to eliminate a potential source of the problem.
After being at the shop for the majority of the day, they couldn't replicate the noise. They listed off inspections that were performed on the car, but never provided a paper copy for reference. I assumed that everything had been checked which was a mistake. I left that day, only to immediately hear the noise again as I drove off.
Calling back to receive a list of the inspections performed on the car and learning the brakes weren't checked, it was explained to me that brakes aren't checked unless noise can be replicated or unless it's requested. The only thing checked were "suspension and steering components." This was a big disappointment, as I believed there to be more to the diagnosis they perform, especially the sound coming from the rear was the main reason I was there to begin with.
I've been going to them for years now and they're great! It's family owned and operated and Jeremy at the front desk is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. They will even shuttle you to work or pick you up free of charge!
Ego aside, the Auto Shop missed a couple details that makes me want to choose competitors in the future.
