If I could rate them with an honest rating: 0 out of 5, will not rent from Budget again. Renter beware: call or email days before your pick-up date to ensure you actually have a truck or better yet, don't rent from them- pay extra to go elsewhere. Lessen your risk of scrambling to move your entire home with other companies 24 hours before your move during "moving season".
Good location. Small business. Small parking lot. Overall, not a bad business.
I rented a truck from there for the day on Saturday and when I called on Monday as to why my deposit still had a hold on my account, he was extremely rude. He was rude during the entire conversation. I'll never go back.
Awful experience. The customer service was completely terrible and they had no clue how to do their job. Once we got the rental the tires were junk and blew. Roadside assitance on the budget truck was a joke. Please don't waste your money.
I would LOVE to not even be able to give a star to these people- reserved a truck online on May 22nd, Budget calls this morning to tell us that our truck reservation has been cancelled. No explanation as to why, no "let us assist you in finding a truck elsewhere in the area", absolutely nothing. We move across the state tomorrow and need to be moved in by Sunday. Thanks, Carbondale Budget- thanks for being unprofessional, undependable, and unorganized with your reservations that are made far enough in advance to ensure this does not happen, but are cancelled 24-hours prior to someone NEEDING their reserved moving truck. We called the office, a man answered, we asked what's going on, and he transferred us to a 1-800 number... you won't get any answers from this office.
