This place is disorganized, but mostly freindly. However a mistake made is going to cost my pet her life. She has a serious infection and they told me they would call in the antibiotics after the appointment. The neglected to call the perscription antibiotics in. After two phone calls, I got the perscription finally called in 5 days after the appointment. And now the pharmacy is having problems. The infection has now spread throughout her body and I'm going to have to put her down. Having not received the $60 antibiotics I needed due to faulty priorities. A tragic and easily avoidable mistake. The vet even stressed how absolutely important the the antibiotics were to take the second I got them the next day and to not hesitate to pick them up.
The nicest people EVER! Great service and great care for my pup
I took my dog in because he could not stand on his back legs. He’s a big dog, and I was very scared I was going to have to put him down. They got me in right away, and gave a diagnosis imidiately. He had an inner ear issue and needed an anti nausea shot. There were other animals there that had severe issues, and the staff let me know it might be awhile before he was seen. I was fine to wait because I was so scared. The staff was very understanding and calming. I felt like he was in great hands. Thank you!
Staff was absolutely wonderful while my Puggle was there for almost 5 days. With great care, he's doing excellent now!

Two mos ago, our terminally ill chihuahua, began showing signs that her death was imminent-she could no longer walk & her breathing was rapid. Our vet had said her heart murmur was too severe for her to live long.We called Lakeside after hours & took our precious baby, Coco to someone who could help.We knew she was suffering mightily, & I knew it had to end.My son, Sam & I had a decision to make.We did not want her to suffer. Lakeside took care of us so beautifully with such real caring & sensitivity & respect for Coco & her life. I will never forget that...we are eternally grateful to you, Lakeside...
