I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient, which was extremely simple and easy. I was very well received and taken care of within a matter of minutes. I look forward to being able to write a positive review in response to their actual services. :)......... I visited the Dental Group of Carbondale, because they were on my insurance plan. Total mistake! The service was terrible! Appointments were canceled without notification, just showing up to find I would have to come back another time. Not to mention the substandard dental care received. I have since seen another dentist, to correct the damage they did to my teeth. Don't trust your smile with this hack dentist.
Terrible and very unprofessional first time experience. I went and got a filling done which went okay. I made my copayment of $60 in cash but I made the mistake of not asking for a receipt. I was receiving calls from this facility telling me that I owed them money and that they had no record of me paying them. I disputed the bill with them and now they sent a collection agency demanding an even larger bill from me. I recommend going some where else. If you have no choice but to go here then make sure you get a receipt and hold on to it.
Our family have been coming to this office for several years. We have had nothing but good experiences! I like it that they are prompt. In all the years I have been coming here, I have sat in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes every single time! I appreciate that they make you reschedule if you are late. (I think they allow you a 10 minute window). When others run late, it just causes everyone else to have to wait their turn even if they are on time. Waiting for long periods of time for appointments is a huge pet peeve of mine! I have and will continue to recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist. P.S. In case you didn't catch it above, if you are a habitually late person, this is NOT the office for you! :)
I hope everyone avoids this facility. I would not wish this on my worst enemy!
