I'm so thankful that I was told about this place.
Had a appointment at 2 for my son and they didn't even call him back to the room until 3 there excuse was sorry we are really busy well guess what I don't care I made an appointment for a reason so I will never go back worst experience ever they need organization or stop making so many appointments if they cant handle them.
Was told on the phone 2x that my mom could take my 8yr old son up there as long as i fill out the propper paper work and she did. In which we live 1 hr and 15min away. And i work 1 hr away from home. Then the did nothing for my son while he was up there.
Just like other's said the office staff was great they were nice and genuinely seemed to care that I was in a lot of pain.Hygienist was a sweetheart also was very careful with me seeing as I was in agony. Then comes in Dr.Powers and he was so mean and unsympathetic. Did nothing for me and didn't even seem to know what he was doing or talking about. Poked and prodded at my jaw making it crack more and me cry. Then says "well you have TMJ" I said I know it's in my charts was diagnosed with that 5 years ago. That was IT he offered no solutions and didn't care that I was underweight due to not being able to chew. I've been to some pretty bad dentists in my life but at least they DID something! I am going to refuse paying for their services as they didn't do anything to treat me ..offer any treatment plan..make any diagnosis. .and made my problem worse. Their soooo lucky I'm not suing them.
Went to get some fillings. Was told they only do the silver fillings. Went ahead and let them fill 2 of my teeth. Got the run around about some other fillings and they wouldn't make an appointment for me to get them done. So, I switched dentists. Come to find out, they CAN do tooth colored fillings and the dentist didn't even fill the entire tooth he worked on! I wouldn't send my dog to get checked by them. Dan Massie all the way!
First of all, they got me in on the day I called. That was great considering how badly I was hurting. Once I got there, the office was clean and quiet and cool. The lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful. She gave me info about the sliding scale fee and my insurance. I didn't have to wait long at all before being called back. The hygienist was also nice. She was very gentle while doing the x-rays. She asked some questions and said the dentist would be there as soon as he could. I waited a very short time. Dr. Powers came in and introduced himself and shook my hand. He asked several questions to make sure he knew my situation. I had been dreading the exam, but he was very gentle and apologized if it hurt. He also did something no other dentist has done, which is examine my mouth and tongue for signs of cancer, ect. He then gave me several options about what to do about the tooth, and explained everything very well. Plus, after prescribing the antibiotics, he asked aboit a certain side-effect that comes with antibiotic use, and prescribed a med for that also.
