So I live in Du Quoin and we don't have a Wendy's. Last time I was in Carbondale I stopped at Wendy's and bought a couple of doubles with fries and drinks in the drive thru. When we got home we had no fries. Now yesterday my wife was in C-dale and stopped for a burger and got me the New Taco Salad. It looked good on TV so I decided to try one. They must have sold a lot of them because when I got home there was a garden salad with a bowl full of lettuce with two little pieces of tomatoes, six shreds of cheese, a bag of corn chips, about a half cup of salsa and NO CHILLI. For this I had the privilege of paying about six bucks. I know we don't buy from you guys unless we are in C-Dale so we are not one of your best customers, so it won't hurt you to know we are not you customers any longer. Just to express my point about screwing people in the drive thru, I am telling my story to every ear in DuQuoin that will listen. I can't help the people in C-Dale but I know a lot of people in DuQuoin, and I talk to about 40 to 60 per day when they come into work and shop at the place I work in. If we operated the way YOU folks do, we would be out of Business. BYE!
Went through drive through to get a drink...was told they dont have diet drinks in drive through....how? Pulled off figured maybe the staff was rude or new. Tried again three days later. This time inside. Five staff members visible. Two with headsets. One was getting ice. One was standing by fry station. A lady stood for atleast 10 mins waiting because she had ordered coke and drink machine was out...how?. ..the lady by fries finally helped her but seemed rude. One older lady walked past the line of atleast 5 people stocked lids....filled two orders. Did not one time acknowledge the people in line or stop to take orders. Finally stopped and took my order....of just a drink i waited 10 mins and would have left if i had time to go anywhere else at this point. I go to machine....out of coke...mt pibb...and atleast 4 other beverages. What a joke i will never sit foot in this hell hole again.
My chicken nuggets were good. But my mom said her taco salad tasted not good. It wasn't even one no shell or nothing. Plus tables needed cleaned...alot of them. Disgusting...
Food was good they don't ever have the right kind of Saudi and they need to clean the floors and wipe off the counter tops and the tables soda soft drinks always out of dr. Pepper are Diet Coke nothing that can't fix
Also the food was warm not hot and not fresh. The floor by the soda machine was wet altho a caution sign was up it was very slippery AND THEY WERE OUT IF COKE in the 100 plus soda vending machine. Definitely not a good experience. I have not been here in a while but the quality and evirionment has definitely gone down hill.
No one in line and staff focused elsewhere. I was addressed while the attendant was doing something else. Then stopped in the middle of my order to get something for someone else and left . A supervisor then took the rest of my order without acknowledging the disruption.
