We always enjoy resting at Hunan! Their food is excellent, the service is very good and the atmosphere is always friendly.
Most Chinese restaurants are of the fast food variety so being able to go to a nice, authentic restaurant is refreshing. This place is family-owned and they take care of their guests. Expect great food and service.
The staff were highly courteous and did an amazing job. The food was the most flavorful I've had in a very long time, and the space is very pleasant to eat in. Excellent in every way!
The staff are very kind and gracious. To me, that is what's most important, before food, but, having said that, the food is great, too. I'm not an adventurous diner. I usually pick the same things. Sweet and sour chicken or curry chicken. The menu has a wide variety, though. Enough to entice more tastes.
Had lunch at Hunan Chinese Restaurant here in Carbondale the first time today. Being Chinese who also enjoy and know a bit about Chinese food, I give it 5 stars. Food is good. The place is clean and the ambient is great. The best part perhaps is meeting Mr Chan the owner who has been running this place for over 30 years. He shared with me his story of fleeing his home country and making it here in America. Inspiring!
